Chief Operating Officer

The Chief Operations Officer (COO) will oversee the overall operational strategy, performance, and growth of Company’s Industrial Sector. The role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, optimizing production efficiency, driving profitability, and supporting business expansion in alignment with the company’s strategic goals.

Position is based in Doha-Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership :

Lead, manage, and oversee daily operations across all industrial business units within Company.

Develop and implement operational strategies, business plans, and performance targets to support corporate objectives.

Collaborate with the CEO and executive management team to align operational performance with the company’s long-term vision.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory, health, safety, and environmental standards.

Business Performance & Growth :

Monitor operational KPIs and financial performance across all industrial subsidiaries.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Support the development and launch of new industrial products, services, and market opportunities.

Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

People & Resource Management :

Provide leadership and direction to operational and plant management teams.

Build and maintain a high-performing culture through effective people management, coaching, and performance development.

Oversee workforce planning, resource allocation, and succession planning within the industrial sector.

Financial & Risk Management :

Work closely with the finance team to prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.

Ensure operational profitability through cost control, efficiency, and effective use of resources.

Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Stakeholder & Partner Relations :

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and key clients.

Represent Industrial Sector in strategic meetings, negotiations, and public forums.

Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment between operations, sales, finance, and business development.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or Business Administration.

Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.

Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in operations or industrial management, with at least 5 years in a senior executive leadership role.

Proven experience in managing large-scale industrial or manufacturing operations.

Strong understanding of industrial processes, supply chain, and project management.

Strategic leadership and decision-making skills.

Excellent financial and business acumen.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to drive change and foster innovation.

Fluent in English and Arabic.
