Overview

Job Purpose :

  • The Manager – Finance and Administration is a pivotal role supporting the financial oversight and administrative operations within the Residential Development Division.
  • The role ensures effective budget control, financial planning, and efficient administrative practices that align with RSG’s broader goals of operational excellence, project delivery, and sustainable development.
  • The incumbent will lead a team responsible for managing cost control, procurement coordination, reporting, and administrative support across Residential development portfolios.

Responsibilities

1. Financial Management & Budget Control

  • Lead the preparation, monitoring, and periodic review of operational and project-related budgets within the Residential Development Division.
  • Coordinate with the corporate finance team to ensure alignment of divisional financial activities with RSG’s overall financial framework.
  • Analyze monthly financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and KPIs; identify cost variances and propose corrective actions.

    • 2. Strategic Planning & Reporting

  • Support leadership in developing financial strategies and resource plans to support project execution.
  • Provide regular financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses to senior management for decision-making.
  • Lead financial risk assessments and participate in business case development and investment planning for Residential initiatives.

    • 3. Administrative Oversight

  • Oversee general administration, including office operations, procurement requisitions, document control, and contract administration.
  • Ensure proper resource allocation and optimal functioning of administrative services to support project teams and site operations.
  • Supervise and mentor admin and finance support staff to ensure efficiency, compliance, and development.

    • 4. Governance, Compliance & Process Improvement

  • Ensure adherence to RSG’s internal financial policies, procurement protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams during reviews and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve financial systems, processes, and reporting structures to enhance transparency and operational efficiency.
  • Liaise with cross-functional departments including Procurement, Legal, HR, and Project Delivery teams to ensure seamless administrative and financial support.
  • Coordinate with external service providers, consultants, and contractors regarding invoicing, payment tracking, and contract fulfillment.

    • Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field (Master’s or CPA / CMA / ACCA is a strong advantage).
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance and administration, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP), budgeting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong financial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and integrity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
