Senior Manager - Strategic Procurement (CORS348) Role Overview Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Manager for Strategic Procurement to lead procurement initiatives. The Senior Manager will develop and implement robust procurement strategies that align with the ambitious goals of this transformative project. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Procurement Leadership : Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with Qiddiya''s project objectives, focusing on cost efficiency and quality
Lead the procurement team to ensure effective delivery of sourcing and purchasing functions across all categories
Supplier and Relationship Management : Establish strategic partnerships with key suppliers and stakeholders to drive value throughout the procurement process
Negotiate contracts to secure optimal terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and frameworks
Evaluate and optimize supplier performance through comprehensive analysis and regular reviews
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with various departments to assess needs and implement procurement plans that align with strategic objectives
Facilitate effective communication between teams to ensure procurement strategies support operational and project delivery needs
Risk Management and Compliance : Identify potential risks within the procurement process and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard business operations
Ensure that procurement activities comply with local regulations, sustainability practices, and government mandates
Requirements
Bachelor''s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master''s degree or MBA is preferred
Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic procurement or supply chain management, preferably in large-scale projects
Strong negotiation and people management skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally
Demonstrated expertise in executing procurement strategies in line with company objectives and managing supplier relationships effectively
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
Proficient in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus
