The Cloud Infrastructure Senior Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex cloud-based infrastructure solutions for clients. They serve as a technical subject matter expert, working closely with clients to understand their infrastructure needs and providing expert guidance on cloud solutions that best fit their business requirements. This role requires deep cloud technology expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, good presales abilities, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and architecture of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions. Optimize cloud resource utilization, performance, and cost-efficiency using FinOps principles and best practices. Develop automated provisioning, monitoring, and remediation processes to ensure reliable cloud operations. Assess existing on-premises infrastructure and identify opportunities for cloud migration and transformation. Define cloud governance policies, standards, and controls to meet regulatory and compliance requirements. Ensure solutions meet technical and functional requirements. Develop architecture solutions and evaluate alternatives for private, public, and hybrid cloud models, including IaaS, PaaS, and other services. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Azure ARM, or AWS CloudFormation. Manage troubleshooting and resolve cloud-based issues. Document cloud architecture, infrastructure, and operational procedures. Mentor and guide junior colleagues, supporting their growth. Participate in presales activities, including customer workshops, technical assessments, RFP responses, solution proposals, and SOW creation. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and management. Industry certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Cloud Architect). Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), with a focus on Google Cloud. Experience with assessment and migration tools. Knowledge of cloud security controls and mechanisms. Ability to assess and migrate workloads, including legacy applications. Strong understanding of identity management, network security, and data encryption. Experience with VMWare enterprise solutions. Solid understanding of virtualization, containers, serverless, and Infrastructure as Code.
