Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the dental department, ensuring smooth and efficient clinic functioning.
Lead, supervise, and evaluate the dental nursing team, providing guidance and support for professional development.
Ensure adherence to infection control protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate patient care activities, ensuring high-quality and compassionate service.
Assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies, procedures, and quality assurance measures.
Manage inventory and procurement of dental supplies and equipment.
Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
Conduct staff scheduling, training, and performance appraisals.
Monitor department performance through KPIs and implement improvement strategies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree in Nursing / Dental Assistance (or equivalent).
Valid Saudi Council for Health Specialties as a dental assistant OR nurse specialist.
Proven experience as a Dental Nurse or Head Nurse in a dental setting, within large clinic.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
In-depth knowledge of dental procedures, infection control, and safety standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia.
Preferred
Certification in Dental Nursing or Advanced Nursing Practice.
Experience with healthcare management and quality improvement initiatives.
