Master-Works is seeking a proactive IT Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will design and implement security measures to protect our IT infrastructure and sensitive data from cyber threats. You will collaborate with IT teams to enforce security policies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards, helping create an environment that prioritizes security throughout our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and optimize F5 BIG-IP devices to meet network and application requirements.
Maintain and support F5 security solutions, including Web Application Firewall (WAF) and Advanced Firewall Manager (AFM).
Implement and enforce security policies to monitor applications and prevent cyber threats.
Utilize F5 Analytics and monitoring tools to assess network efficiency and identify performance issues.
Diagnose and resolve F5-related network and security incidents promptly.
Collaborate with the network and application teams to ensure secure and continuous service delivery.
Perform system updates, patches, and upgrades to enhance F5 security and performance.
Conduct pre- and post-update testing to verify stability and minimize service impact.
Document all configurations, changes, and procedures for reference and compliance.
Prepare regular reports on network status, security effectiveness, and F5 system performance.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience managing and maintaining F5 BIG-IP systems.
Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP / IP, HTTP, SSL, DNS) and application security.
Experience with firewall, WAF, and intrusion prevention technologies.
Certification such as F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator (F5-CA) or equivalent is an advantage.
