Al Majal Company is looking for an experienced Book Binding Technician to manage the binding, repair, and preservation of books and archival materials. The candidate will work with both traditional and modern binding methods to ensure the durability and professional presentation of books and manuscripts. Key Responsibilities

Bind, repair, and restore books and manuscripts using appropriate techniques. Operate and maintain bookbinding tools, machines, and equipment. Select suitable materials (paper, leather, fabric, adhesives, etc.) for bookbinding projects. Work closely with restoration teams on heritage and archival projects. Ensure quality, precision, and durability in all binding work. Maintain records of bookbinding and restoration activities. Follow preservation standards to protect rare and valuable books. Job Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Book Binding Technician. Knowledge of traditional hand-binding as well as modern binding techniques. Experience in restoration and preservation of old or rare books is preferred. Strong manual skills, attention to detail, and artistic precision. Ability to work independently and in collaboration with archival teams. Salary & Benefits
