POSITION OVERVIEW
The Procurement Officer is responsible for spearheading all administrative efforts pertaining to the purchase of goods and services, logistics coordination pertaining to the delivery of purchased goods, and contract administration at Client Side.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, source and maintain a list of authorized vendors for various goods and services
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
- Liaise with Food and Beverages Department and others to proactively identify requirements
- Process Purchase Requests, Purchase Orders and Contracts
- Order products and supplies which include determining the appropriate vendor
- Managing the procurement of food and non-food
- Coordinate with Accounting Team to ensure timely payment to vendors and service providers
- Make logistical arrangements pertaining to delivery of goods
- Create and maintain electronic and hard copy systems for relevant documentation
- Reviewing, comparing and analyzing products and services to be purchased
- Preparing cost analyses and reports for decision making and assist with budgets
- Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures
Perform any other reasonable tasks as required by the Company.
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Business or related subjectMinimum of three (3) years of experience as a Purchasing Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator, or Administrator of which a minimum of one (1) year applicable experience in food and beverage procurement in Saudi ArabiaProficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language, Arabic is a plus.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team environment.Ability to work well under pressure and multitask.Knowledge of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia market will be advantageous.Excellent grooming standards, and professional appearance.
