PROJECT QA / QC MANAGER (Mechanical)

الوصف الوظيفيEstablish Inspection and Test plans for Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning phases, review all inspection records at all phases by suitably managing the activities with the deployment of proper manpower. Evaluate the Quality System of Supplier / Sub-Contractor. Review / issue Non-Conformance Reports, corrective & preventive actions for resolution, and monitor the same. Determine and report to the Project Manager regarding the principal (root) causes of quality losses and where improvement is necessary to safeguard against foreseen quality losses and recommend proactive action plans. Identify the deviations / waivers required and manage their approval and control for proper implementation at all phases. Prepare weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly Inspection Progress Reports highlighting causes of concern (construction) for the client and SIS management. Ensure the calibration requirements of instruments for inspection and the availability of proper instruments at the project site. Assist the Project Management Team in fulfilling all the project quality requirements as per contract. Attend Project Progress meetings and other meetings with clients to resolve all issues related to quality and to meet the schedule 'Q' Requirements (if Aramco Project).
Whole responsibilities for site QA / QC activities including establishing, reviewing, updating, and distributing project Quality plans, ITPs, and methods statements in line with project specifications / ISO and / or Saudi Aramco schedule 'Q' Requirements (as appropriate).
- Ensure effective implementation and monitoring of the ISO 9001 : 2000 quality management system throughout the project team.
- Review and control all site quality documents issued by SIS and ensure proper distribution.
- Prepare, review, update, and distribute the project quality plan.
- Prepare, review, and approve / get necessary approvals for quality-related procedures for special processes.
- Issue project quality control procedures, Inspection and Test Plans, Inspection checklists, and Forms for Inspection records and project reports.
- Assign quality control personnel to various activities within the framework of the project. Monitor inspection progress, review inspectors' reports and project documentation. Upon completion of the work, ensure that all requirements have been met and required quality records have been collected and approved by the client’s representative.
- Coordinate with the client’s representative for inspection & test coverage and obtain necessary approvals.
- Coordinate with the construction team for issuance of Technical Queries & Design Change Requests whenever required, and monitor resolution.

Job Specification
Candidates shall have an Engineering Degree in Mechanical, be a Qualified Lead Assessor ISO 9000 IRCA, with a minimum of 10-12 years of practical experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical & Power Plant Construction Projects. Worked as a QA / QC Manager for a minimum period of 3 years.
