Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our Electrical Engineering department as a Lecturer or senior Lecturer. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, curriculum development, academic advising, and service activities within the department. The Lecturer will also engage in professional development and, where appropriate, collaborative research or applied projects that align with departmental priorities.
Job Responsibilities
Teaching & Instruction
Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions in core and specialized areas of Electrical Engineering (such as power systems, electronics, control systems, communications, circuits, or renewable energy).
Prepare course materials, assignments, and examinations in line with departmental standards.
Incorporate modern teaching methods, technology, and industry-relevant practices into instruction.
Contribute to the design, review, and continuous improvement of undergraduate and / or graduate programs.
Supervise and mentor undergraduate student projects, capstones, and internships.
Provide academic advising, guidance, and support to students.
Service & Administration
Participate in departmental, college, and university committees.
Contribute to outreach, accreditation, and quality assurance processes.
Support departmental initiatives, such as labs, student clubs, and industry collaboration.
Professional Development & Research
Engage in applied research, scholarly activities, or professional practice (depending on departmental expectations).
Foster industry and community partnerships.
Two-year renewable contract.

Qualifications For applicants applying for a senior lecturer position, they must have :
An earned full-time PhD degree from a reputable university in the relevant field.
Certificate equivalency if the certificate obtained from outside the Kingdom.
