Key Responsibilities :

  • Erection, testing & commissioning of transformers up to 500 MVA / 380 KV
  • Supervision of cable laying, control system integration, and site teams
  • Oil handling : vacuuming, filtration, oil filling, and sampling
  • Preparation of Job Safety Analysis (JSA), risk assessments, and site documentation
  • Maintenance, troubleshooting, and restoration of failed transformers
  • Commitment to safety standards and on-time project delivery

Additional Skills & Experience :

  • Transformer assembly, overhauls, gasket replacement, and maintenance
  • Hands-on testing using CPC 100, Doble, and related equipment
  • Strong knowledge of protection / control systems (old and new schemes)
  • Cable termination, testing, and jointing
  • DGA analysis and troubleshooting transformer issues
  • Coordination with project teams for planning and approvals
  • Site documentation : inspection reports, execution plans, and JCCs
  • Customer and team training on protection schemes and safety practices
  • Compliance with customer standards (e.g., SABIC safety norms)
  • Team supervision and shift coordination
