Assistant Manager Finance role at Landmark Arabia .
Role objective : The key objective of the job holder is to be a key Finance focal point for Supply Chain Management (SCM) function of a large Retail organization by performing key activities like Budgeting, Financial Accounting & Books Closure (R2R), Variance Analysis & MIS (FP&A) with critical understanding of Supply Chain Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- R2R : Contribute to Period End Closing Activities as per timelines, pass JVs, check the accuracy of the inputs & schedules. Allocation of common overheads to correct business units / brands and cost center reclassification. Critical review / follow-up of inputs from Operations team for expense booking.
- Budgeting : Perform and present annual Budgets on “Bottom-up” approach, take full ownership in accuracy and explanation. Also responsible for periodic Latest Estimate preparation
- MIS : Prepare the required MIS reports that depict the performance of the supply chain business process, with explanation and reasoning.
- FP&A : Perform periodic Variance Analysis and understand the reasons for variation against Budgets, previous periods. Understand the cost drivers impacting the SCM performance and respond to all queries.
- Monitor cost absorption to Business units / brands and products
- Review of Supply chain operations like Customs Clearance, GRN, put-away, transportation & vehicle deployment, manpower deployment department / function wise productivity, Incentive scheme calculation, Overtime review, E commerce related payments. Should liaise closely with Supply Chain Operations team.
- Review and approve POs, Invoices for Supply Chain Spending.
- Work on business cases for new Warehouses, alternate Supply chain models.
- Handle Audit queries related to all areas of Supply Chain Finance and ensure process compliance.
Key Requirements
Qualified CA / CMA is must with prior experience of Supply Chain Finance operations in R2R, FP&A (must).Critical understanding of Supply Chain KPIs, SLAs and Processes (must).Proficient in working with ERP and BI modules, preferably in Oracle Finance, Qlikview and COGNOS systems.Quick understanding and ability to challenge Status quo. Proven ability to lead change management, understand the problems and provide workable solutions in the Supply Chain process.Deeper and hands-on experience on Absorption, Activity Based Costing, Overhead and Cost Center Allocation.Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power-point, Power BI. Any experience in RPA, Power Automate will be an added advantage.Seniority level
