Client is looking for an Interface Manager
Project Type: Petrochemical, PMC
Location: Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia
Requirements/Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or refinery sector.
- Proven experience as an Interface Manager on large-scale petrochemical projects.
- Strong background working within a PMC environment supporting major capital projects.
- Experience coordinating multiple EPC contractors and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent understanding of project lifecycle phases including FEED, Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Start-Up.
Responsibities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the project Interface Management Plan and associated procedures.
- Identify, track, and manage technical, commercial, and organizational interfaces across all project phases.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination between the client, PMC team, EPC contractors, licensors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Lead interface meetings, workshops, and coordination sessions, ensuring timely resolution of interface issues.
- Monitor interface registers and ensure actions are assigned, tracked, and closed out in accordance with project requirements.
- Assess interface risks and work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.
- Support engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities by ensuring interface alignment.
- Prepare interface reports and provide regular updates to project management regarding interface status, key risks, and critical issues.
- Ensure compliance with project procedures, contractual obligations, and HSE requirements.
