TPE V / Process Safety / Major Hazards SME

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Process Safety / Major Hazards SME to serve as the Technical Authority across our portfolio of energy, oil & gas, mining, industrial and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia.

Role Purpose
Lead technical assurance for process safety and major accident hazard management.

A recognized industry expert with a proven track record of solving complex engineering challenges, influencing clients, mentoring engineering teams and driving technical excellence across major international projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the Technical Authority across multiple projects.
• Lead technical reviews during Concept, FEED and Detailed Design.
• Perform independent design assurance and peer reviews.
• Resolve complex engineering challenges and provide specialist guidance.
• Support proposals, client workshops and business development.
• Mentor young engineers and develop technical capability of the THSE team.
• Develop and maintain engineering standards and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in the relevant Engineering discipline.
• Chartered Engineer/Professional Engineer status is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 20 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Petrochemical, or Industrial projects.
• Proven experience as a Technical Authority, Chief Engineer, Principal Consultant, Engineering Fellow or equivalent.

Technical Expertise:

• HAZOP, LOPA, SIL, QRA, consequence modelling, ALARP, IEC 61511.

Knowledge of Standards:

• IEC, OSHA, Saudi Aramco standards.
