• Performs installation, maintenance and repair of telecommunications systems.
• Describe interactions with the team to achieve the mission
• Under direct supervision, determines appropriateness of moderate equipment changes or modifications including call switches, test trunks and test links, and installs communication circuits.
• Responds to emergency calls in the event of a system failure.
• Verifies services by testing circuits, equipment, and alarms; and identifying, correcting, or escalating problems.
• Installs, removes, maintains, modifies, troubleshoots, and repairs telecommunication equipment WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED :
• Education : High School Diploma / GED
• Required Experience : 1+ years of related experience SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : Personnel in this labor category are considered experts in the field. Lead level experience in the installation, maintenance, repair, alignments, testing, and troubleshooting of CATV broadcast receive equipment as specified in the task order to include :

• Performs installation, maintenance and repair of telecommunications systems. GENERAL EXPERIENCE : Lead level of “hands on” work experience in support of installations, repair, and troubleshooting or maintenance of communications systems or equipment. Must have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems, understand the interrelationships of circuits, and be able to exercise independent judgment in performing tasks in support of communications systems or equipment.
