to Emergency & Crisis Centre Section Head
Job Purpose
The job holder is responsible for crisis response activities including monitoring, coordinating, and responding to crisis events, executing predefined protocols and supporting during incidents.
Responsibilities
Ensuring work is performed based on approved policies, processes, procedures, and instructions.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, practices, cost optimization, and productivity & efficiency improvement.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards within WTCO and related functions such as but not limited to (HC, HSSE, Risk, Cybersecurity, etc..).
Escalate problems to ensure case / issue is closed efficiently and in a timely manner.
Follow established emergency and crisis response procedures.
Record incidents accurately and promptly in designated systems.
Assist in distributing alerts, warnings, and updates to stakeholders.
Participate in drills and training sessions.
Continuously monitor real-time information from multiple sources, including alerts, surveillance systems, and reports.
Initiate standard crisis response actions as instructed by higher-level operators or management.
Ensure all emergency communication systems (e.g., radios, telephony, messaging tools) are operational and updated.
Execution of crisis response protocols and escalating complex issues to the Senior Operator.
Collect and relay critical information to the operator team and supervisors.
Assist in deploying crisis response resources as needed.
Prepare initial incident reports for review by higher-level operators.
Maintain detailed logs and records of all actions taken during a crisis incident.
Support post-crisis reporting by preparing incident summaries and compiling data.
Participate in training exercises and simulations to enhance response readiness.
