Safety Officer

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Safety Officer to develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures across our organization. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe work environment, maintain compliance with national and international regulations, and promote a strong safety culture among all employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Policy & Procedure Development : Establish and update occupational health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with relevant local and international laws and regulations.
• Risk Assessment : Conduct regular risk assessments of facilities, practices, and procedures to identify hazards and recommend effective corrective and preventive measures.
• Training & Awareness : Develop and deliver safety training programs and awareness initiatives covering workplace safety, emergency response, and safe equipment usage.
• Inspection & Auditing : Perform periodic inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards, and verify the safety of equipment and facilities.
• Incident Investigation : Investigate workplace accidents and near‑miss incidents, identify root causes, recommend corrective actions, and prepare detailed incident reports.
• Emergency Management : Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, and conduct regular drills to ensure preparedness.
• Regulatory Compliance : Ensure continuous compliance with all applicable occupational health and safety regulations, standards, and requirements.
• Reporting : Prepare and present periodic safety reports, including risk findings, incident analysis, and performance KPIs, to management.
• Record Keeping : Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date documentation of safety inspections, training sessions, incidents, and corrective actions.
• Maintenance Oversight : Monitor the maintenance and functionality of safety systems and equipment, such as fire protection and gas systems.
