Overview
The manager formulates clear personal and operational objectives aligned with the Golf Saudi vision and supports golf development strategies. It is encouraged to promote golf among members, guests, junior golfers and Saudi nationals. The role collaborates with Golf Club’s vision and mission, assisting with budgets, forecasts, and ensuring team alignment. Responsibilities
Formulates clear personal and operational objectives that are fully aligned and supportive of the Golf Saudi vision. Adheres to and champions strategies that encourage golf and golf development. Encourages members / their guests, junior golfers as well as Saudi nationals to take up the game of golf. Formulates clear personal objectives aligned with the Golf Club’s vision and mission. Assists with preparation of operational and capex budgets and forecasts for projects and shares expectations with the team. Manages self and other non-PGA Qualified coaching staff to maximize productivity while maintaining an optimal service level to the project. Implements golf strategic plans offering educational and instructional support to relevant parties. Coordinates, implements and operates golf club instructional programs. Recommends equipment and supplies to uphold expected standards. Attends regular meetings with key reports to stay updated on the project. Attends regular project-specific events to maintain motivation and promote teamwork. Uses excellent communication skills with suppliers, stakeholders, senior management, owners, etc., through a wide variety of methods. Works closely with the Golf Academies team to ensure goals are achieved. Manages golf events / initiatives. Recommends and implements departmental marketing initiatives. The manager is authorized to assign the employee to any task within the department. Qualifications
Industry recognized qualification with PGA, LPGA or similar body University or higher education qualification Minimum experience : at least 5 years in golf instruction at internationally recognized facilities Advanced level of golf professional accreditation preferred; AA status, TPI, CPD courses, etc Regional experience preferred Experience in developing market an advantage Skills and Competencies
