Procurement & Contracts Manager
Job Purpose
To lead and manage the procurement and contracts function by developing sourcing strategies, negotiating with suppliers and contractors, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing while safeguarding the company’s interests through well-structured contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Strategy & Management
- Develop and implement procurement policies, procedures, and strategies.
- Identify, qualify, and manage suppliers, contractors, and consultants.
- Ensure cost savings and timely delivery of goods and services.
Contracts Management
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers, contractors, and consultants.Ensure compliance with Saudi laws, company policies, and project requirements.Manage contract lifecycle including variations, claims, and disputes.Financial & Cost Control
Prepare and monitor procurement and contracts budgets.Ensure alignment with project budgets and financial forecasts.Track payments and financial obligations related to contracts.Coordination & Communication
Work closely with Project Management, Finance, and Legal teams.Provide advice on contractual rights and obligations.Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors.Risk Management & Compliance
Identify and mitigate contractual and procurement risks.Ensure proper documentation, guarantees, and insurances are in place.Implement KPIs to evaluate supplier performance and contract compliance.Team Leadership
Lead and supervise the procurement and contracts team.Train and develop staff on procurement and contract management best practices.Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure team efficiency.Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Law, or related field.7–10 years of experience in procurement and contracts (preferably in real estate or construction).Strong knowledge of Saudi procurement regulations and commercial law.Excellent negotiation and contract drafting skills.Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.Bilingual (Arabic & English) is highly preferred.Personal Competencies
