Network Support Engineer DALMA 282NSE

Duties and Responsibilities Provide IT technical support to assigned department / personnel. Answer computer related problems from the users over the telephone. Respond to user questions via email. Create monthly metric charts of all the LAN / WAN and system problems. Maintain / support email servers, remote access servers, web servers, proxy servers, and file servers. Implement engineering changes for future improvements on LAN / WAN networks. Update IT documentation as appropriate. Provide OJT when required by management in accordance with appropriate training manuals. Assist and train personnel in becoming proficient in the IT Platform Operations, Maintenance, Technical Support in accordance with manuals. Job Specification

Qualification The candidate shall have a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science. Experience The candidate shall have a minimum of ten (10) years working experience in carrying out the following activities : Planning, designing, configuring and testing of computer and networking hardware and software including operating systems. Planning, designing, configuring, managing, and testing of data network and security including the VPN connectivity. Providing tier 3 and 4 support to helpdesk. Planning, designing, configuring, managing, and testing of Microsoft Active Directory forest and domain. Planning, designing, configuring, managing, and testing of group policies. Planning, designing, configuring, managing, and testing of Microsoft Exchange email system. The experience must include working with the following hardware and software : HP and Dell Servers Printers (LaserJet, inkjets, dot matrix etc.) SAN / NAS storage Backup software such as Arcserve or Netbackup Cisco Routers and Switches Nortel ATM Switches IP Telephony Web Servers Microsoft Windows XP / Vista / 2000 / 2003 Software Microsoft ISA 2004 / 2006 Server Microsoft Exchange 2003 / 2007 Server Microsoft Active Directory HP OpenView (Network monitoring and management software) Location :
