Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department. Supervise daily financial transactions. Supervise employees in the accounting department. Ensure the application of accounting and financial standards and principles. Prepare monthly account reconciliations. Facilitate and complete monthly and annual closing procedures. Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end procedures related to the Finance Department. Cooperate with the finance manager to assist in completing the monthly, temporary, and end-of-fiscal year accounts. Prepare a preliminary report on the financial accounts and other reports to be delivered to the chief accountants and then to the finance manager after detailed analysis and added value. Review, verify, and correct errors and discrepancies in financial entries, documents, and reports. Monitor the fixed assets system and prepare reports. Maintain the general ledger and post daily entries. Assist in company audits. Conduct data analysis and preparation of financial reports. Organize financial data into usable information and keep records up to date. Maintain business confidentiality and apply the company’s regulations and procedures. Requirements
Proven experience as an accountant for a minimum of 3 years. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a relevant certification. Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end / year-end close process. Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
