Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement mechatronic systems for railroad construction, steel-mill services, and industrial operations.
Integrate mechanical, electrical, and control systems to optimize machinery performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver innovative engineering solutions.
Conduct system analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations to resolve technical issues.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, diagrams, and user manuals.
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of automated equipment and control systems.
Support ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives for existing mechatronic systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality procedures.
Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and operational staff.
Participate in research and development projects to introduce new technologies and methodologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

2-3 years of hands-on experience in mechatronic system design, integration, or maintenance.

Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools for mechanical and electrical systems.

Strong understanding of automation, robotics, and control systems.

Experience with PLC programming and industrial automation platforms.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Commitment to upholding safety and quality standards in all engineering activities.
