Qualifications
- Diploma (or equivalent) in Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Field
- 5 – 8 years of working experience in the HVAC industry / field
- A valid driving license is a plus
Knowledge Of
Principles and practices of HVAC equipment’s maintenance and repair inline with industry practices & manufacturer’s guidelinesHazard & Safety practices and procedures used in installing, repairing & maintaining HVAC equipment and MSDS sheets.Overall understanding & practices of tools utilization & managementPreparation & filling of inspection reports / Technical reportsOverall understanding & complying with quality management practices as per company standards & any other applicable quality standardsGood English knowledge in terms of speaking, writing, reading & listeningCommunication & inter-personal skills, team player & customer orientedBasic understanding & knowledge in Metal sheets, electrical, carpentry & Building Automation controlsResponsibilities
Follow standard processes to accomplish tasks (Understand & follow oral and written directions)Essential Task Description : (daily tasks and duties) including daily timesheetAttend & complete assigned tasks within assigned time to the best ability and ensure quality services & customer satisfaction. Leave site clean & neatKeep customer informed with the task nature & progress upon site arrival & prior leaving work site. Share outstanding issues & suggested enhancements / recommendationsFill up Job Completion Certificate / Job Card / EH&S site surveysInspect air-conditioning units to ensure efficient operation & diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions and make recommendationsMake estimates of labor hours & materials requiredPrepare Inspection reports (Site condition, SOW & Technical recommendations)Prepare Technical Reports & Root cause analysisPossess basic knowledge of computers and cell phone appsRepair and replace damaged partsWork independently in the absence of supervisionPerform regularly scheduled maintenance & Maintain maintenance recordsAdjust and maintain internal electrical and electronic control systems; cleans coils, blowers, checks motors, and belt tensionsWork closely with colleagues as part of an integrated teamRecognize safety hazards commonly found in HVAC operations, and identify and implement appropriate controls to ensure safe workIdentify situations that require escalation or elevation to Supervisor or Manager for guidance or need to request additional supportAble to rig & properly set up gantry for safely lifting equipment, overhauling pumps, chillers etc.Manage & organize machinery tools pickup, delivery, usage & inventory as applicablePerforms additional duties and responsibilities as requiredRecognize and identify potential risks and hazards associated with performing all work-related duties safelyAttend regular (EH&S / Technical) Trainings & meetingsMinimum Product Knowledge
