Rig Material Expeditor
Rig Material Expeditor shall : Adhere to all international HSE standards, policies and administrative controls. Monitor the progress and shipment of drilling material. Obtain and input order status information into the system. Maintain material and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts between production areas, per predetermined production schedules and maintain order priorities. Read production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priority. Maintain material status, check discrepancies etc. Distribute materials to specified production areas, manually or using handcart, hand truck, or forklift. Drive truck to outlying work areas to check status of orders or to deliver materials. Conduct a daily review of assigned expeditor workload queue to ascertain which orders are to be actioned based on delivery date priorities. Consolidate orders by vendors, in order to minimize the number of contracts, and contract the vendor status information or to expedite material. Maintain constant contact with major vendors who routinely have large number of open orders. Enter and maintain current order / LDOR status information in the system. Requirements
High School level or equivalent. Minimum 2-3 years experience working as an expeditor skills and inventory skills. Able to operate a computer with Microsoft Basic and able to operate basic office equipment. Ability to listen the phone calls carefully and transmit messages effectively. Good understanding of English and speaking ability to enable effective verbal communications.
