The PIM Manager contributes to strategy, governance, and execution of product information management to ensure accurate, enriched, and consistent product data across all digital channels. This role supports Panda Ecommerce's commercial performance by enabling faster product activation, improved online customer experience, and operational efficiency. By streamlining product content workflows, enhancing catalog quality, and integrating with systems like MDM and the CUBE supplier portal, the PIM Manager accelerates time-to-market and strengthens Panda’s digital competitiveness. Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end catalog lifecycle including product setup, categorization, attributes, pricing, and availability. Ensure timely and accurate onboarding of products with complete and optimized content (titles, descriptions, images, videos, specifications). Maintain catalog taxonomy, tagging, and SEO best practices to enhance discoverability and search performance. Implement and maintain rules for product hierarchy, attributes, and classifications based on customer experience needs and backend system requirements. Ensure Data Quality and Content Accuracy :
Conduct regular audits of product pages to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with brand guidelines. Coordinate with content teams or agencies to generate or enhance visual and written assets. Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and localization standards for product data (e.g., country of sale labeling, health info). Manage PIM Systems and Tools :
Administer and optimize the PIM platform, ensuring effective integration with other internal systems (e.g., MDM, CUBE) and alignment with IT / data governance frameworks. Process Optimization and Automation :
Design and implement continuous improvements, automation, and workflows to accelerate time-to-market and reduce manual effort in catalog management. Work with data validation and enrichment tools to scale and improve catalog accuracy. Cross-Functional Coordination :
Collaborate with Category Management, Supply Chain, Image Bank, Marketing, and Technology teams to ensure seamless product data flow and alignment with campaign, supplier, and commercial initiatives. Act as the catalog gatekeeper ensuring product launches align with campaign and trading timelines. Vendor and Resource Management :
Supervise the PIM team (including direct reports), manage third-party content providers, and coordinate with external partners on digital content services. Performance Monitoring and Reporting :
Track, report, and analyze product content performance metrics : Product data accuracy and completeness; Time-to-market for new SKUs; Product findability and search conversion rate; Internal stakeholder satisfaction. Provide insights and recommendations to improve catalog health and digital merchandising performance. Support Strategic Initiatives :
Align PIM practices with broader ecommerce, digital, and commercial strategies including the rollout of the CUBE portal and Master Data Management (MDM) roadmap. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Ecommerce, Supply Chain, Product Management, or Business Administration. Preferred certifications : PIM / Digital Product Management, Data Management, Process Improvement, or relevant Ecommerce courses PIM System Expertise (e.g., Salsify, Akeneo, Informatica) Data Quality Assurance & Governance Project and Process Management Seniority level
