The opportunity

To build You as a responsible for a Senior Project Manager at Hitachi Energy involves leading and managing complex projects to ensure successful execution and delivery.

How you'll make an impact

• Lead the project team, establish the project execution approach, and oversee project hand-over, execution planning, and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
• Develop comprehensive project plans in collaboration with the Project Controls department, encompassing scope, budget, schedule, and risk management.
• Manage all aspects of project execution, ensuring compliance with Hitachi Energy policies and best practices. This includes monitoring and controlling progress, resources, and financials.
• Monitor and control project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow. Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage risks, ensuring that all opportunities are identified and pursued.
• Ensure consistent application of contract and claims management in accordance with Hitachi Energy policies and contractual agreements and coordinate procurement efforts.
• Act as the key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor team members by providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration for professional growth.
• The focus of the role is to Develop and deploy improved Training management systems to track, monitor, and measure effectiveness of training courses. Alos, Identify, develop, and manage a set of KPIs to measure effectiveness of training and development strategies and processes; use data to drive continuous improvement of programs and processes.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
