Job Description

Clinical pharmacists (CP) educate students, interns, residents, and patients and they participate in drug therapy research.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS :

Education, Training and Development

• Provide continuing education for students in different programs (pharmacy, dentistry, and nursing).
• Serve as preceptor for co-operative education students and pharmacy interns.
• Serve as a co-preceptor for Master of Clinical Pharmacy students.
• Educate other health care providers by publishing drug information articles and participating in community services and activities.

CREDENTIALS :

Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university with a PharmD degree. The ideal candidate has a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and has two years of related practice experience.

LICENSURE :

Licensed to practice pharmacy in Saudi Arabia.
