Job Description We are seeking a proactive and results-driven

Senior Project Manager - Delivery

to lead the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of a major infrastructure project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout, while ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budgets.

Extensive experience in concept, design and procurement phases of the project lifecycle and previous experience working in a Project Management or Engineering Consultancy.

Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage complex project scopes while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, quality assurance, and performance objectives.

Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, overseeing scope management, and driving project delivery in collaboration with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing : Health, Safety, and Security :

Champion a culture of health, safety, wellbeing, and security across the project, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, client requirements, and local regulations.

Conduct safety investigations, inspections, and audits as required to maintain a safe working environment.

Project Planning and Execution :

Develop and implement robust project delivery plans, covering all aspects of project preparation, execution, and closeout.

Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring alignment with time, cost, HSE, quality assurance, and performance objectives.

Identify and assess risks and opportunities, develop mitigation strategies, and manage them through regular reviews.

Stakeholder Engagement :

Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and resolving conflicts.

Ensure a ‘Customer-first’ approach is integrated into all aspects of project planning, decision-making, and delivery.

Collaborate with local authorities, contractors, and key third parties to ensure alignment with project objectives.

Scope and Change Management :

Oversee scope management, constructability reviews, and contract alignment to ensure project objectives are met.

Manage changes through defined change management processes, ensuring early identification and communication of potential impacts.

Design and Procurement Coordination :

Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure the successful delivery of concept and detailed designs.

Support procurement processes by developing detailed scopes of work, facilitating market engagement, and evaluating contractor and supplier proposals.

Procurement and Commercial Support :

Lead the procurement process by selecting appropriate contract models, developing scopes of work, facilitating market engagement, and conducting rigorous reviews to engage suitable contractors and consultants.

Work effectively with the commercial team to ensure contractual compliance and cost control are maintained to the highest level.

Team Leadership and Mentorship :

Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a high-performance culture through clear direction, continuous feedback, and recognition of exceptional performance.

Provide coaching and professional development opportunities to support the growth of team members.

Risk and Issue Management :

Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing strategies to address roadblocks and maintain project momentum.

Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and identify opportunities for improvement.

Quality Assurance and Compliance :

Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Implement and maintain project management processes, tools, and best practices to ensure transparency, standardization, and continuous improvement.

Reporting and Communication :

Prepare and deliver regular project updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders and senior management.

Maintain transparency and accuracy in project documentation and communication.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring :

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.

Higher National Diploma in a relevant field is also acceptable.

Certifications :

Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, AgilePM, or equivalent certifications are desirable but not mandatory.

Experience :

Minimum of 10+ years of experience in project management, leading complex projects from initiation to completion within a contracting or construction environment.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, effectively controlling scope, schedule, budget, and resources.

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in enterprise-level project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or Aconex.

Strong understanding of infrastructure delivery processes, including design, procurement, and construction.

Soft Skills :

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities.

Ability to mentor and coach team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Experience working in Saudi Arabia and / or the Gulf region is highly preferred.
