Job Description

Candidate should have the ability to lead projects, engage and effectively communicate with key clients, actively contribute to and manage the delivery of mechanical engineering projects within the building space. The candidate will join a forward‑thinking team, work in a collaborative environment, and will be given opportunities to make real contributions to the company.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and manage key clients
• Assist the mechanical team in tendering projects
• Work effectively alone and as part of the wider MEP team
• Mentor junior staff
• Undertake mechanical building services design
• Preparation of design calculations in line with industry standards, regulatory compliance, and best practice.
• Preparation of technical specifications, tender documentation, and technical reports.
• Checking design calculations, design drawings and specifications prepared by others on a variety of projects
• Site surveys and inspections
• Manage own workload and workload of others
• Monitor site works
• Preparing and managing fee budgets
• Coordination of services, with a sound understanding of the interfaces and interactions between services, architecture, and structure of buildings.
• Ensure mechanical design quality is maintained
• Ensure delivery of projects within time to budget
• Resource management across the mechanical package
