Job Objective :
To oversee and manage the efficient operation of the hospital’s warehouse and inventory systems, ensuring the timely receipt, storage, and distribution of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and non-medical materials. The Warehouse Manager will ensure compliance with healthcare quality and safety standards while optimizing inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control
- Manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and distribution of materials.
- Ensure accurate and timely inventory recording using ERP systems.
- Implement effective stock rotation, minimizing expiry and obsolescence of medical items.
- Oversee periodic stock audits and cycle counts to maintain 100% inventory accuracy.
Process Optimization & Compliance
Establish and maintain SOPs in line with hospital policies and MOH guidelines.Ensure proper storage conditions for pharmaceuticals, medical consumables, and equipment.Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.Lead initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to best practices.Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Coordination & Reporting
Prepare regular reports on stock status, consumption trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities for inventory planning.Health, Safety, and Quality Assurance
Enforce adherence to occupational health and safety standards within the warehouse.Ensure compliance with ISO and healthcare accreditation standards (e.g., CBAHI, JCI).Seniority level
