Senior Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall construction activities for major infrastructure works (roads, bridges, utilities, drainage, tunnels, etc.).
• Oversee contractors’ performance to ensure compliance with project specifications, design intent, safety, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with design, planning, HSE, and quality teams to ensure smooth execution of construction phases.
• Manage project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of key milestones.
• Review and approve construction method statements, ITPs, and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements and client specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections and chair weekly progress and coordination meetings.
• Support in claim evaluations, change management, and risk mitigation activities.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and construction staff.
• Prepare and present regular reports to the Project Director and Client.
