The Feasibility Electrical Engineer’s primary role is to evaluate existing and planned infrastructure against clients’ service orders and produce a comprehensive outcome report covering both technical and commercial feasibility. The engineer will be responsible for identifying all potential risks associated with a given addition, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and preparing accurate commercial reports.
Responsibilities
- Translate telecom service orders into detailed electrical engineering requirements.
- Conduct technical electro-mechanical assessments to determine suitability for fulfilling telecom orders.
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and allocation studies to verify the safety and capability of existing infrastructure for accommodating additional services.
- Prepare commercial invoices for specific service orders prior to the implementation phase.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and client agreements.
- Maintain comprehensive network records and perform periodic updates and audits to ensure data accuracy.
- Identify and mitigate power-related risks to prevent design errors, material failures, and compliance issues.
- Produce final design attributes, including (but not limited to) wattage, power system capacities, and future scalability.
Qualifications & Experience
5 to 10 years of relevant experience.Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Strong understanding of telecommunications industry standards, including IEEE.Proven expertise in DC power design and specifications.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Effective coordination and stakeholder management abilities.Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and other MS Office applications.Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory.Seniority level
