Paramedic (Ref#060)

As an Emergency Medical Services Specialist or Paramedic , the ideal candidate administers basic and advanced life support care to sick and injured persons in pre- Hospital and in-Hospital settings. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provides patient care according to clinical protocols and safety requirements. Assesses each call situation to determine best course of action and appropriate protocol as per patient's needs. Monitors and maintains the general condition of the unit, keeps it clean and stocked for optimal call response to maintain the image of the medical provider. Completely documents activities to ensure appropriate information is available regarding each call. Maintains response readiness consistent with Emergency Medical Services' response criteria. Acts as a team leader and takes responsibility for scene management as needed. Functions as trainer or preceptor, as necessary. Prepares required reports and leads or assists with projects as needed. Adheres to maintain current certifications, keep the level of satisfaction and the quality of the work performed, preserve internal quality indicators and processes to perform efficient patient service, and document timely and accurately patient and equipment records and submitting all reports on time. Participates in self and other's education, training, and development, as applicable. Follows all hospital related policies and procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned. IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medical Services or equivalent Minimum Two (2) years' experience as Flight Paramedic (FP) / Critical Care Paramedic (CCP) or three (3) years of experience as Paramedic Specialist. Required : Basic Life Support (BLS); International Trauma Life Support (ITLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) How many years of experience do you have as an Emergency Medical Services Specialist or Paramedic or in a relevant role?
