Role Purpose

The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that support business decision-making. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency with data tools, and the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. With 3 years of experience, the analyst is expected to work independently on medium-complex projects and contribute to strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection & Management

Gather, clean, and validate data from multiple sources (databases, ERP, CRM, etc.).

Maintain and update dashboards, data models, and reporting systems.

Ensure accuracy, integrity, and security of data.

Data Analysis & Insights

Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.

Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decisions.

Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs).

Perform ad-hoc analysis to address business queries.

Reporting & Visualization

Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.

Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.

Automate repetitive reporting tasks to improve efficiency.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

Work closely with cross-functional teams (Finance, HR, Operations, Marketing, etc.) to understand data needs.

Translate business requirements into analytical solutions.

Act as a point of contact for data-related queries and problem-solving.

Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities to enhance data collection and reporting processes.

Stay updated with latest data analysis tools, techniques, and best practices.

Support implementation of data-driven strategies across departments.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.

Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.

Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

Solid experience with Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, macros).

Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis (preferred).
