MUST BE BASED IN SAUDI AND AVAILABLE TO JOIN OCTOBER - 18-24 MONTHS PROJECT WORK

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Structural Site Engineer to oversee and manage structural engineering activities on-site for high-profile construction projects in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will ensure that all structural components are executed according to design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Analysis

  • Review and interpret structural drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure structural integrity and compliance with design standards and local codes.
  • Provide technical solutions to structural challenges encountered on-site.

Site Supervision & Coordination

  • Monitor construction activities to ensure alignment with structural plans.
  • Liaise with contractors, architects, and MEP engineers to resolve design conflicts.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.

    • Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure adherence to Saudi building codes, safety regulations, and international standards.
  • Oversee material testing (e.g., concrete, steel) and validate results.
  • Certify structural components and maintain documentation for audits.

    • Project Management

  • Track progress against project milestones and report to senior management.
  • Assist in resource planning and procurement of structural materials.
  • Support cost control efforts by optimizing material usage and construction methods.

    • RFI Management

  • Review and respond to RFIs related to structural works in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate with design consultants and project stakeholders to resolve technical queries.
  • Maintain a log of RFIs and ensure proper documentation and communication flow.

    • Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, modifications, RFIs, and approvals.
  • Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and as-built documentation.

    • Skills

    Qualifications & Skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in structural engineering, with at least 5 years on-site.
  • Proficiency in structural design software (STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, Tekla Structures).
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and structural systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.

    • Preferred Certifications :

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is an advantage.
