JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Emergency Physician Consultant, you will work for a prestigious healthcare provider in Saudi Arabia.

Based in Riyadh, but at times traveling throughout Saudi Arabia while providing Emergency Concierge Medical Services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides and maintains an efficient consultative, diagnostic and advisory service.
• Responsible for the highest standard of medical care for whom he / she will be responsible.
• Participates in the management of the physical and manpower resources of the assigned area to maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
• Participates in actively promoting, and formulating teaching and training programs for Medical, Technical, Nursing and other Staff as applicable.
• Meets on a continuing basis all prerequisites for the team category.
• Regularly assumes the functions pertaining to his / her specialty, including emergency care, consultations, and committee assignments and on calls.
• Maintains responsibility for the management of patients under his / her care.
• Undertakes a comprehensive program of quality assurance which will ensure that standards are met and maintained as required.
• Promotes and maintains the high standards of the discipline by continuing medical education and the development of the specialty / subspecialty.
• Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his / her knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Participates in self and others' education, training and development, as applicable.
• Performs any other clinical responsibilities related to the department or specialty, as assigned.
• Follows all approved policies and procedures.
