Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project control strategies, systems, and processes to ensure successful project delivery
- Lead a team of project control professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management
- Establish and monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and profitability
- Conduct regular project reviews and risk assessments, implementing mitigation strategies as needed
- Analyze project performance data and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management and stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project goals and objectives
- Identify and implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives in project control methodologies
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards in project execution
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government entities
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or related field; Master\'s degree preferredPMP (Project Management Professional) certification required15+ years of experience in project control or related field, with a proven track record of successful project deliveryExtensive experience managing large-scale, complex projects in construction, engineering, and rail projectsAdvanced proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6) and ExcelStrong financial analysis and budgeting skills, with the ability to develop and manage project budgetsExpertise in risk management, performance metrics, and KPI developmentExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at all levelsIn-depth understanding of local regulations and business practices in Saudi ArabiaAdditional relevant certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, AACE International certifications) are a plusDemonstrated leadership abilities, including team management and mentoringStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approachAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslySenioriy level
