Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact confidently with consultants and stakeholders. Good knowledge of local market pricing and suppliers. Role Overview
The Mechanical Estimation / Technical Office Engineer will play a key role in preparing technical and financial proposals for fuel systems and mechanical works. The role involves performing hydraulic calculations, preparing cost estimates, reviewing engineering drawings, and coordinating with suppliers and stakeholders throughout project phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hydraulic calculations to determine pump capacity, pipe sizing, and fuel flow requirements.
- Review IFC drawings and extract BOQ for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing materials using AutoCAD / Revit.
- Prepare cost estimates, equipment specifications, and technical submittals for fuel system projects.
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable standards, safety regulations, and industry codes.
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers to source materials and equipment aligned with project requirements.
- Participate in client and consultant meetings to present proposals, clarify technical aspects, and justify design decisions.
- Support tendering activities and provide technical inputs during project planning and execution stages.
