It seeks to lead the aviation industry by transforming Saudi Arabia into a global aviation and trade hub – a digitally native airline that will connect the kingdom to more than 100 destinations.

About the Role Are you passionate about architecting long‑term maintenance strategies that keep a world‑class fleet flying safely and efficiently? You will own the scheduling of fleet maintenance to maximise fleet utilisation and availability, ensuring Riyadh Air operates as a safe, compliant, sustainable, and operationally world‑class airline.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain long‑term maintenance plans aligned with the strategic fleet plan, managing everything from aircraft induction and phase‑out to heavy maintenance checks and major component replacements.

Coordinate with Maintenance Planning teams and MRO providers to secure capacity for scheduled base maintenance events, ensuring precise aircraft downtime allocation and optimised availability.

Analyse fleet utilisation trends, conduct “what‑if” scenarios for operational disruptions, and identify life‑limited parts and major component requirements.

Collaborate with Finance to forecast long‑term capital expenditure.

Monitor key fleet maintenance KPIs, provide senior management with strategic recommendations, and work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure maintenance activities are fully resourced and operationally feasible.

Qualifications

Degree qualified or equivalent, with 5+ years of progressive experience in aviation strategic maintenance planning, ideally with hands‑on experience in aircraft maintenance planning, modifications, upgrade programmes, and project management.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.

Proven experience working alongside maintenance teams, MRO providers, and regulatory bodies.

Proficiency in project management methodologies and attention to detail that ensures compliance with the highest industry standards.

Additional preference for experience with AMOS software, an AME / A&P License, or engineering qualifications in Aviation or a related field.
