About The Role Our Corporate Finance team focuses on our clients’ strategic, operational, financial and capital needs by addressing the full spectrum of financial and transactional tests faced by corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditor constituencies and other stakeholders. Typical Restructuring team assignments include lead financial restructuring advisory; financial, operational, and commercial due diligence; business reviews; cash and working capital management; valuation; contingency planning and insolvency.

Within that context, we are currently seeking a talented and ambitious Senior Director to join our leading Restructuring team in Dubai or Riyadh.

What You’ll Do Delivering engagements by :

Assisting in structuring the engagement approach, scope, and deliverables

Managing the team to address the scope within the required timeframe and budget

Leading business and liquidity reviews by investigating historical and future financial performance

Preparing and testing business plans and financial models

Undertaking variance / bridge analysis and identifying reasons for underperformance

Developing a broad understanding of the full suite of offerings (e.g. contingency planning)

Forming initial views and opinions on analyses before sharing them with the case manager

Communicating findings through report writing and oral presentations

Building detailed three-statement financial models and demonstrating confidence in Excel modelling

Interrogating and diligence financial analysis

Speaking with external stakeholders / clients to keep them apprised of progress, initial observations, and issues

Coaching and supporting junior team members

Forming initial views and opinions on the engagement to discuss with the Lead Managing Director or Senior Managing Director

Taking responsibility for producing and delivering a substantial element of the client deliverable

Covering Senior Managing Director(s) in relevant situations

Leading business development activities, including :

Contributing to broader departmental initiatives such as key accounts, pursuits, business development meetings, recruitment, charity events, or overall practice development

Preparing and participating in formal pitches

Coaching junior team members and seeking opportunities to become a counsellor

Preparing for and participating in training activities

Building and maintaining personal relationship networks

Ability to organise and track overlapping tasks and assignments, with frequent priority changes

Ability to travel and work on cross border situations

Basic Qualifications / Skills

Extensive and relevant Restructuring experience in a Consulting firm

Educated to degree level in a numerate subject (or equivalent)

ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications / Skills
