King Fahd Military Medical Complex

King Fahd Military Medical Complex (KFMMC) is a military fort medical complex that contributes to the development of the health services. His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz established this complex to support health care development; a huge achievement for the homeland and an oasis of hope that contributes to the care and provision of medical care for armed forces personnel and citizens in the Eastern Province.

The Hospital consists of specialized departments such as nephrology, kidney transplant, vascular surgery, specialty clinics as well as well‑established medical services and clinics. A helicopter air‑strip is located close to the ER entrance for transferring emergency cases and is provided with up‑to‑date lighting and guiding equipment. Architecturally KFMMC is one of the most magnificent buildings to serve the medical professionals. The housing compound is environmentally friendly and only minutes on foot from the hospital; the housing contains supporting activities such as a recreation center and decent‑size sports and playgrounds for all ages.
