Job Purpose
Job Purpose : Managed low budget and low risk non‑technical projects, ensuring compliance with time and schedule requirements, and participated in medium budget and medium risk projects under guidance of senior managers.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage low budget and / or low risk projects and initiatives, in compliance with established project management policies and procedures.
- Articulate comprehensive project plans for low budget and / or low risk projects and develop project management processes of assigned non‑technical projects.
- Review data related to project activities, highlight any trends or bottlenecks, and develop action plans.
- Monitor performance of external consulting firms and update seniors on progress of project work undertaken by these firms.
- Assess the health of running projects against schedules, budgets, and objectives; report status and highlight variations to seniors.
- Identify changes in project scope and assist in planning changes as guided by seniors.
- Supervise cost‑benefit analysis of future projects and communicate relevant statistics to seniors and relevant sectors to optimize profitability.
- Coordinate and network extensively with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure buy‑in and involvement for achieving objectives.
Job Responsibilities (cont.)
Participate in medium budget and / or medium risk projects under guidance of immediate senior.Prepare standard project management templates for various phases and forward them to senior managers.Participate in internal projects aimed at improving operational efficiencies in project management processes.Analyze best practices in project management and implement them to optimize the life cycle.Resolve escalated queries related to project management standards and templates, in compliance with best practices.Ensure collation of all approved technical reports relevant to General Project Management for easy access when required.Liaise with stakeholders to build effective working relationships and identify synergies.Ensure all assigned projects comply with relevant standards, policies, and SOPs.Identify risks affecting assigned non‑technical projects and articulate effective mitigation strategies.Experience
4–6 years of experience working in project management in the technology / telecommunication industry.
