Job Purpose

The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience at Al Ahli Club stores by providing excellent service, promoting club merchandise, and maintaining store standards. The role plays a key part in representing the club’s values, enhancing the fan shopping experience, and contributing to store sales performance.

Key Accountabilities

  • 1. Customer Service & Sales

Greet and assist customers in a professional, friendly, and engaging manner.

  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products, upselling and cross-selling where appropriate.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets, contributing to overall commercial performance.
  • 2. Store Operations
  • Process sales transactions accurately through the POS system.

  • Assist in receiving, unpacking, and displaying new merchandise.
  • Maintain stock levels on the sales floor, ensuring availability and presentation standards.
  • Support inventory counts and stock management processes.
  • 3. Visual Merchandising & Store Standards
  • Ensure products are displayed according to club and brand guidelines.

  • Maintain store cleanliness, tidiness, and overall presentation.
  • Ensure promotional materials and signage are up to date.
  • 4. Fan & Club Representation
  • Act as an ambassador for Al Ahli Club, reflecting professionalism and passion for the brand.

  • Engage with fans and customers to enhance their shopping experience and connection with the club.
  • Provide accurate information on products, promotions, and club initiatives.
  • 5. Teamwork & Collaboration
  • Work closely with fellow associates and the store management team to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Support colleagues during busy periods to meet customer demand.
  • Share feedback and ideas to improve store performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Qualification

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Retail, or related field is an advantage.
  • 1–3 years of retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience in sports retail, apparel, or FMCG is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Skills

  • Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and visual merchandising practices.
  • KPI Knowledge is an Advantage.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and passion for sports and the club.
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure during peak sales periods.
  • Fluent in Arabic & English.
