Role

For our office in Riyadh, we are looking for a Legal & Contracts Manager .

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in legal and contractual management within the engineering consultancy or construction industry. They will safeguard ARX's interests by managing contracts, ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations, and advising on legal and commercial risks. The candidate will support project teams, business development, and senior management in achieving successful project and corporate outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the drafting, review, negotiation, and administration of contracts with clients, partners, and subcontractors.
• Provide legal and contractual advice to management and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Identify potential risks in contractual terms and propose mitigation strategies.
• Support proposal and business development teams by reviewing RFPs, tender conditions, and contractual obligations.
• Manage claims, disputes, and variations, working closely with external counsel when required.
• Develop, implement, and maintain contract management policies, procedures, and templates.
• Maintain accurate contract records, databases, and ensure timely renewals or amendments.
• Monitor regulatory updates in Saudi Arabia and advise the company on legal and compliance matters.
• Conduct internal training sessions for staff on contract management, compliance, and risk awareness.
