Fuel Systems Maintenance Technician

JOB PURPOSE BAE Systems is the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor (PC) under the Government-to-Government arrangements to provide equipment, support, and training to Saudi Arabia. We maintain Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF personnel in a safe training environment on aircraft, equipment, and weapons. This role is responsible for performing and supervising all aircraft maintenance activities related to the Engine, Propeller, and Fuel Systems, including on-the-job training (OJT) and production inspections. The technician troubleshoots, inspects, removes, installs, repairs, modifies, and operates all related aircraft systems, components, and support equipment.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provide operationally capable aircraft supporting KFAA pilot training by performing servicing, fault troubleshooting, modifications, inspections, and evaluations of aircraft systems at the intermediate maintenance level.
Support KFAA mission and aircraft servicing programs through workshop support equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, modifications, and inspections at the intermediate level.
Support specialty evaluations, interpretations, and determinations of corrective actions for aircraft systems and support equipment at the intermediate level.
Provide informal and formal OJT to RSAF and BAE Systems Saudi personnel to facilitate RSAF or civilian Saudisation of intermediate maintenance operations.
Obtain and maintain necessary certifications to support maintenance functions.
Develop expertise in RSAF aircraft data management and tracking systems such as MIRO Gold.
Understand and adhere to RSAF FOD and Safety Programs.
RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION
Graduate of a recognized military service or civilian aircraft technical training institute.
Extensive experience or recent graduation from RSAF recognized technical training, including PC9 / PC21 aircraft systems courses or equivalent.
