JOB SUMMARY :

The IT Manager for Entertainment is responsible for overseeing the technical and managerial aspects of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This role involves planning, directing, and designing the company’s IT framework while managing the IT team tasked with maintaining it. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in network design, management, and vendor relations, complemented by certifications such as CCNP or CCIE and relevant Microsoft certifications.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead IT Infrastructure Management : Oversee the system administration and support teams to implement and maintain effective infrastructure solutions that support business operations.

Security Management : Ensure the effectiveness of security solutions, including firewalls, antivirus systems, and intrusion detection measures.

Financial Oversight : Manage operational costs and conduct near- and long-term financial forecasts for expanded functionality and user bases.

Team Leadership : Direct and administer a team of network analysts, system administrators, and technicians, conducting performance reviews and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Communication and Collaboration : Utilize stellar communication skills and attention to detail to strategize and collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.

Asset Management : Practice comprehensive asset management, including maintenance, lifecycle management, and documentation.

Project Documentation : Prepare RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, and scope of work reports for IT projects and associated efforts.

Research and Development : Conduct research into IT issues and products as required to inform decision-making.

Task Prioritization : Prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environments, making sound decisions in emergency situations.

Infrastructure Alignment : Align business requirements with infrastructure setups and provide management with necessary reports.

Architectural Design : Architect and modify infrastructure setups as needed to meet organizational goals.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Minimum of five years in IT, including at least two years in a managerial role overseeing IT services and infrastructure.
• Proficient in managing and ensuring the effectiveness of both virtual and physical servers, including associated operating systems and software.
• Experience in configuring and managing enterprise-wide LANs, WANs, WLANs, and VPNs.
• Exceptional knowledge of current protocols and standards in systems and networks, including DNS, Active Directory, MS Exchange, SSL / IPSec, and IP Telephony.
• Extensive hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, and Azure.
• Knowledge and experience with Cisco UCS Manager, Cisco Wireless, and mobility solutions, as well as security devices like Cisco ASA, Cyberoam, and FortiGate.
• Working experience with Dynamics AX Administration and various databases including MSSQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Plan, acquire, and coordinate hardware and software installations across the organization’s network.
• Test network and server performance, provide statistics and reports, and develop strategies for maintaining optimal server and network infrastructure.
