GE Vernova . This position acts as the first point of interface, providing Contract Management functional support to Grid Solutions Business for the HVDC, ACS and FACTS Projects in Saudi Arabia. It largely composes Contract Management through the OTR- Project Cycle from Project / s Award to Closeout, with occasional support to the Commercial team in tendering (ITO) phase for key Complex Projects. The role involves collaboration with multiple functions and stakeholders, and close work with project management teams. The role includes leading, with the Project Management team, analysis of risk, management of change orders and mitigation of claims and disputes during the execution stage of a project. It also involves maximizing financial and operational performance by supporting Operations teams and enabling functions, and working with Sourcing on complex projects to develop, publish and negotiate construction subcontract packages with appropriate flow-down terms. Managing project insurances, and leading the development of training on Contract Management principles and processes. Roles and responsibilities

Review Tender / Contract documents and implement contract management systems, procedures and processes for effective Contract Management as laid out by the Company and best practices. Support tendering and operational teams with Contract & Risk Analysis, Bid Clarifications & Correspondence. Build awareness of contractual rights and obligations among Operations / Project teams and provide comprehensive contract management support from project start-up to closeout. Ensure Contracts are duly performed and closed, with all contractual issues fully resolved. Coordinate with Planning & Controls to ensure Project Plans are properly devised and implemented. Ensure that Extension of Time, Change Order and Claims entitlements are pursued to the Company’s benefit. Support Project risk and opportunity identification, analysis and management from a contractual perspective. Preserve the Company’s interests under the Contract by implementing Change Management, Claims Management and Dispute Resolution strategies and processes. Ensure subcontracts are properly drafted and aligned with Main Contract terms and performed to the Company’s benefit. Assist in drafting Contract / Subcontract documents, agreements and notices, memos & correspondence as required. Manage Project Insurances, ensure compliance with contract requirements, and monitor / settle insurance claims. Establish and implement project-specific CM procedures, tools, processes and registers for logging events, variation orders, claims, insurance, bonds, warranties, correspondence and notices. Provide guidance to Projects on general / contractual issues and support disputes when required. Assist Projects and Operation Teams in customer / vendor meetings and negotiations on contractual matters. Interface with related Project Management functions for CM inputs, data and feedback. Assist with ITO Review for critical tenders as directed by Region Contract Management Leader. Undertake other contractual / commercial / MIS / tendering tasks as directed by Region Contract Management Leader. Required Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor degree in Engineering and / or Quantity Surveying and / or Law and / or Business Administration. 10 years’ work experience and 5+ years’ first-hand exposure in Contract Management roles in large complex infrastructure projects / businesses; EPC projects and Turnkey Power / Substation projects experience is an advantage. Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic. Other languages are an advantage. Flexibile to travel. The legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restriction. KSA National preferred. Desired Characteristics

Understanding of project risk management, planning, and controlling. Experience in performance-driven environments with tight deadlines. Influencing, intercultural, analytical and interpersonal skills. Team player and adaptable to matrix environments. Knowledge in Contract Management, claims preparation and dispute resolution. Working-level understanding of business / commercial / contract law. Technical understanding of scope and obligations. Experience with extension of time, variation orders / claims preparation and strategizing. Experience in high-intensity contract / claims negotiations.
