Job Purpose
The primary responsibility of the MENA Contract & Tender Manager is to manage the local Tender & Contracts teams across the region, identifying and implementing best practice processes and tools to ensure high-quality Contract and Tender Management activities and achieve improved levels of performance. In addition, this role will support the relevant Commercial teams in achieving consistent, high quality service levels, and delivering on revenue growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and coordinate the efforts of all stakeholder departments relating to tendering / bidding activities and contract review.
- Direct support and contact person for GPOs (purchasing groups), key customers and project customers in all matters and their following internal communication.
- Contact person for GPO price lists as well as other customer price lists; includes the creation and administration of price lists and article master data, also with regard to specified file formats from the clients.
- Contact person for sales analyses and reports within the scope of the activity; includes the preparation of revenue analyses also with regard to specified file formats from the customers.
- Measure, develop, support and motivate personnel to attain or exceed established goals to improve employee involvement and people development.
- Manage main GPOs procurement activities in the assigned region from tenders' preparation & submission to successful execution.
- Standardize and Improve processes by using the most modern process modelling techniques.
- Establish the best process / tool to vet through incoming tenders and to note down tender due date, project start and end date, tender submission instructions / requirement and mode of submission
- Establish best practice tools and processes to collate internal tender information and references which are needed for submission.
- Collaborate and create unified strategy with Business Unit leadership to identify and prioritize opportunities and risks.
- Apply business analysis and planning skills to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
- Influence key executive-level stakeholders internally and externally to gain alignment and commitment by preparing and presenting recommendations
- Prepare and analyse Tender Pricing file templates relating to Price Renewal.
- Conduct regular pricing reviews and work with the relevant Commercial teams to ensure that system pricing is kept up to date. Identify price outliers and low margins on specified criteria.
- Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.
- Adhere to and ensure the compliance of Teleflex Medical’s code of conduct, all Company policies, rules, procedures and housekeeping standards.
Essential Skills / Experience Requirements
Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization.Experienced in MENA main GPOs management (Purchasing groups : NUPCO, KIMADIA, GCC, GPP).Experienced in MENA project management.Excellent communication skills in Arabic & English, in written and spoken is a must.Self-motivated, proactive, and creative.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.Ability in problem-solving and negotiation.Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills required.Methodical and structured approach, with excellent attention to detail.Data maintenance and process experience in a World Class Customer Service environment is preferred.Strong Excel skills, adept with data manipulation and statistics.A self-starter with a proactive approach and attitude.Strong time management and comfortable working to strict deadlines.Desire to work in a fast-changing multinational environment.Key Relationships / Interfaces
