Today, we continue to lead because we have a world-class, diverse workforce that puts the customer at the center of everything we do.About the roleThe main role of the Controls Project Design Engineer is to prepare Project Engineering Documentation required of Projects and Contracts under the framework of Carrier Ethics & Compliance, EH&S policy & Quality Management System and Approval Matrix.Key Responsibilities :As a Controls Project Engineer, you’ll be responsible for :Reviewing project documentation such as specifications, mechanical and electrical drawings to create control drawings as per customer design standards.Preparation of Material & Technical submittal, Including Data Point Schedule, Schematics, Sequence of Operation, Project Schedules for Different Control Solutions as per the project design pertaining to Consultant / Client requirementWriting sequence of operations based on HVAC / BAS principles based on design requirement following standards.Hands on experience of integration using industry standard communication protocols such as TCP / BACnet / MODBUS / MSTP / ARCNET.Ability to troubleshoot complex site issues related to cabling / wiring & field device installation, complex controller programming logic of HVAC controls applications.Understand the DDC panel wiring & functionality to implement the controls program.Develop equipment graphics for site-based graphics design of BAS / HVAC controls.Provide successful demonstration of BAS & connected systems to customer at project site.Comply with project Site HSE requirements & maintain HSE documentation.Completing each assigned task focusing on inside & outside customer satisfaction and specification compliancePrepare and submit project handing over documentation such as Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals for supplied systems, equipment and devicesCoordinating design requirements with the Application / Sales / Operation teamRead and understand project specifications and MEP drawing sets.Create VISIO / AUTOCAD drawings for Controls / BMS DocumentationAttend Internal / external meetings with the Sales / Project team to collect information from the contractor / customerRequirementsWe are looking for people who are as a minimum you must have :4-5 years of relevant experience in the same or similar industry DDC / PLC programmingThorough knowledge of the market and HVAC Controls / BMS products / Chiller Plant Manager.Total Quality Management and ISO Process & ProceduresExcellent communication and inter-personal skillsTeam player, excellent negotiations and Computer skillsWorking experience in ALC product will be an added advantageBenefitsWe are committed to offering competitive benefits programs for all of our employees, and enhancing our programs when necessary.Have peace of mind and body with our health insuranceMake yourself a priority with flexible schedules, parental leave and our holiday purchase schemeDrive forward your career through professional development opportunitiesAchieve your personal goals with our Employee Assistance ProgrammeOur commitment to youOur greatest assets are the expertise, creativity and passion of our employees.
