As an External Audit Senior Associate you will contribute to delivering high-quality service to clients, report to Managers and above, and work as part of a team that helps clients build trust and solve complex challenges. Analyze client financial statements and ensure adherence to financial regulations. Examine financial and accounting records, documents, inventory, and fixed assets; ask questions to client personnel. Test internal controls and processes; communicate engagement progress, risks, issues, and variances to the Manager / Partner in a timely manner. Take ownership of external file completion and manage engagement economics, including variances from budgets. Review the work of junior staff, provide coaching and timely feedback, and ensure adherence to risk, quality, and independence standards. Engage with diverse teams from planning through completion and support digital initiatives and upskilling relevant to the team’s needs. Perform other procedures as necessary to support issuance of the assurance deliverables. What you will bring

A degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Progress toward or completion of professional qualifications (ACCA, CA, ACA, CPA preferred). Progressive experience at Senior Associate level with external audit clients in a Big 4 firm. Experience with diverse industries; excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Bilingual in Arabic and English is a plus. Business development, client relationship skills, and willingness to challenge norms to build effective teams. Strong project management skills; knowledge of audit technologies and data analytics is a plus. Technical accounting, auditing standards expertise; experience designing engagement procedures based on risk / materiality; prior coaching / leading engagement teams. Skills and attributes
